I am Ahmad Iqbal from Pakistan, a student of Master’s degree at China University of Petroleum (East China). I would like to share my truly unique educational experience. After completing my undergraduate studies in my home country, I decided to venture off to a foreign university to pursue a post graduate degree. It was a daunting decision at first because I was serving at Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (KPTEVTA) as a Jr. Instructor, but I am so glad that I took the plunge. My experience has been both challenging and rewarding. I have had to adjust to a new culture and language, as well as to a new learning environment. It has been an amazing journey and I am proud to say that I have successfully adapted to the culture and language of my university. My experience at a China University of Petroleum (East China) is truly one of a kind. From the bustling city life to the diverse student body, I was exposed to so many different cultures and lifestyles. I was fortunate enough to attend classes with students from all over the world, which allowed me to learn from different perspectives. In addition to the cultural aspect of my studies, the academic experience was also something I could not have imagined. The China University of Petroleum (East China) has a wide variety of courses to choose from, scientific equipment to work on and an even wider array of professors. I was able to take courses from all across the academic spectrum and gain insight into a variety of different topics.

While writing about one’s life at China University of Petroleum (East China), there is zero possibility to forget about the Qingdao City. Qingdao is one of the most beautiful cities in China. It is in the eastern Shandong Province of China. Located on the Yellow Sea, Qingdao is an extremely beautiful coastal city that boasts of its many beaches, mountains and parks. The city's most popular attractions are its beaches. Golden Sand Beach is one of the most popular, and it is a great place to cool off during the hot summer months. The beach is lined with restaurants and bars, and the area is a popular tourist destination. The city is also home to several mountains, including Laoshan, which is the highest mountain in the province. The mountain offers spectacular views of the city and its surroundings.

Overall, my experience of studying abroad was truly unforgettable. My four years long stay at China University of Petroleum (East China) has expanded my view of the world and taught me how to think critically. It has also opened my eyes to the importance of international cooperation and understanding. I am now more confident in my ability to take on new challenges. From the cultural experiences to the academic opportunities, it was a nice ride indeed. I am so glad that I decided to take the plunge and pursue my education at China University of Petroleum (East China) and I would strongly encourage anyone else who is considering doing the same because It has changed my life and it surely can change yours. I wish you all the very best of luck.
