Biography: Robert has joined the GFZ Potsdam as the Head of the VLBI Group in 2012. Before that date he was working in VLBI at the Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut, TU München, and for Vienna University of Technology, where he also got his PhD. During his career he worked on geodetic and astrometric reference frames, Earth orientation and atmospheric propagation effects. His research interests include: Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), Space geodetic techniques, Global reference frames, Earth Orientation, Geophysical and atmospheric effects.
