To expand students’ academic vision, understand the academic frontier knowledge, improve students’ academic enthusiasm. Assistant Professor Munawar Shah from Institute of Space Technology was invited to visit our university for academic exchange, Prof. Kaifei He.
On the afternoon of November 1, Assistant Professor Munawar Shah gave a report entitled “How can we monitor space and atmosphere with satellites” for teachers and students of our university in the classroom Nantang 322 in Tandao Bay Campus.
On the morning of November 2, Assistant Professor Munawar Shah was invited to give the other report entitled “Ionosphere variations associated with geomagnetic storms and earthquakes” for teachers and students in the class room Ocean Building B318 in Guzhenkou campus.
On the afternoon of November 2, Dr. Munawar Shah had academic exchanges with nearly 20 teachers and students.
The report received positive feedback from students and teachers who found it informative and inspiring. The report effectively improves students’ research skills, broadens their horizons and deepens their understanding of earth observation by remote sensing and ionosphere.
